Environmental Studies at Area Maintenance Support Activity Facility

Pinyon, as a subcontractor for the Suhail/CHA Joint Venture, was engaged by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District to complete environmental studies of the United States Army Reserve Area Maintenance Support Activity facility located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The studies will satisfy the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) environmental compliance and due diligence requirements to evaluate potential environmental impacts, if any, from demolition and construction of a new facility. The Pinyon Team, including Ohio Valley Archaeology and CastleHill Associates, provided a Work Plan, Quality Control Plan, asbestos and lead based paint inspection, archaeological survey, architectural history survey, and other environmental data in support of the NEPA documentation.
