Pinyon serves as the Environmental Manager and Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV-SP)for this design-build project, providing environmental compliance and sustainability performance oversight through both the design and construction phases. In this key role, we implement environmental and sustainability commitments, conduct on-site monitoring, manage reporting, and address field issues to ensure regulatory compliance and project efficiency
Our work includes preparing critical design-phase deliverables such as Stormwater Management Plans (SWMP), securing stormwater discharge permits from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the City and County of Denver, and developing the project’s Environmental Compliance Workplan (ECWP) and Noxious Weed Management Plan (NWMP). Pinyon’s ENV-SPs developed documentation and credit memos to support self-certification for Pena Boulevard Phase I – Jackson Gap to Terminal Design Build Project using ISI’s Envision Framework V3. Pinyon also guided DEN and CCD on integrating Envision into future project phases, operational procedures, and provided a retrospective analysis to highlight credit opportunities, verification effort, and lessons learned. Additionally, Pinyon provides environmental reviews of project design plans to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and environmental best practices.
