Pinyon Opens Office in Northern Colorado

Twenty-six years ago, Pinyon won its first project in Northern Colorado, a modest underground storage tank remediation in Greeley. As of today, we have completed over 200 projects for dozens of clients across the Northern Colorado region. In an effort to expand our presence and better serve our client's needs, Pinyon is excited to announce that we opened our fourth office in Loveland!

Pinyon's Northern Colorado Office Leader, biologist Tim Merlino, fell in love with the area while pursuing his master's degree at Colorado State University. He is honored to help grow the business and serve as a liaison to Pinyon's headquarters in Lakewood. "This office will allow us to respond more quickly to current and future client needs and help lower project costs by reducing travel time," said Tim. "Most importantly, it will allow us to engage with the Northern Colorado community and better address their needs." Pinyon's Northern Colorado office will serve as an extension of our corporate headquarters by providing the same level of service, innovation, and expertise.

Northern Colorado is a geographically and culturally diverse community that values its natural resources. Pinyon Hires Landscape Architect Sydney Shell, RLA

Pinyon is thrilled to welcome Sydney Shell, RLA to the team! Sydney's six years of experience as a landscape architect and project manager will allow Pinyon to further broaden our suite of services. She has worked on several types of projects including landscape architecture; stream and floodplain restoration; parks, open space, and trail master plans; park and playground design and construction; and transportation-related environmental impacts and permitting.

Sydney understands and enjoys the unique and complex challenges and opportunities faced in river, urban, and transportation corridors. Her ability to create intentional and site-specific design solutions and planning guidelines has been showcased in her experience turning master plans into built spaces. Sydney also has a passion for reconnecting people and communities to the environment through place-making. She understands the need for spaces to adapt as the community grows and changes over time.
