Pinyon is provided environmental support and Categorical Exclusion documentation for the Hertz Rental Car facility parking lot expansion at the Denver International Airport (DEN) in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), as required under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Commercial Properties, a division of DEN, recently obtained the final Master Plan to reorganize the rental car facilities. As part of this reorganization, Commercial Properties has requested that the Hertz Rental Car Facility’s parking lot be expanded; this expansion would add an estimated 9.48 acres of surface parking to the existing Hertz facility located at the southwest corner of Jackson Gap Road and 78th Avenue. Additional improvements to Jackson Gap Road would provide an exit facility with AVI and systems equipment for bus access to Jackson Gap Road.
