Pinyon provided environmental documentation for the proposed Birmingham Army Reserve Center (ARC) in southwestern Birmingham, Alabama. Pinyon developed an Environmental Condition of Property (ECP) report, conducted natural resource surveys, and produced an Environmental Assessment (EA) to meet National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) requirements. The team completed two site visits, assessed critical resources including wetlands, endangered species, and flood zones, and consulted with United States Fish and Wildlife Services (USFWS) on bat species. Pinyon worked closely with its teaming partner, New South Associates, to perform cultural resource surveys, including archival research and shovel testing. Key deliverables were the ECP report, a comprehensive EA, and consultation documentation, all submitted within the agreed timeline.
