Jillian Mauer To Take Over Pinyon’s Transportation Market Manager Position

Pinyon would like to congratulate Jillian Mauer on accepting the Transportation Market Manager position. After almost nine years, Amy Kennedy is stepping down from the role in June but will continue to support the Pinyon Team by delivering existing key projects and pursuits to clients. Jillian’s vision for the transportation market, experience, and the fact that she has worked collaboratively with Amy for the last nine years on a wide variety of Transportation related pursuits and projects, position her perfectly to take over the market. Over the next five months Amy will coach and mentor Jillian as she transitions into the role full time, after which Amy will shift her focus to project work.

“Jillian’s work over the past 10 years combined with her knowledge of Pinyon’s goals, protocols, and overall mission make her an ideal candidate for this position,” said Amy. “She brings an in-depth understanding of the firm’s business practices and philosophy that will serve to further solidify Pinyon as a leader in environmental consulting as it pertains to the Transportation Market.”

Jillian has 13 years of experience conducting a broad range of environmental consulting services. She has specialized in completing National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) documentation, environmental permitting, and environmental compliance management for transportation and transit projects. She is experienced in various levels of NEPA documentation, including Categorical Exclusion, Environmental Assessment, and Environmental Impact Statement projects, and has completed technical evaluations for a multitude of environmental resources. Jillian excels in managing interdisciplinary teams of specialists, collaborating with team partners, and coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies to obtain environmental permits and meet contractual and/or regulatory compliance commitments.

“In late 2021, I was honored to join the ownership group as a Pinyon shareholder and felt a new desire to be a driving force in the company’s strategic vision,” said Jillian. “I am thrilled at the opportunity to take on the role of the Transportation Market Manager as I believe my skills, unique experience, and long-standing relationships will directly support and build upon Pinyon’s positioning and vision in the transportation market.”

Please join us in congratulating Jillian on this next step in her career at Pinyon!
